Long, long ago before the lazy days of summer dulled our brains, I issued a reading challenge to all Summitt Eagles to read 25 books this summer. I sent home colorful copies of a reading scavenger hunt with fun ideas like "read under the stars" and "read with a friend." And, I promised that those of you who rose to the challenge would be rewarded handsomely with warm, fluffy golden discs of deliciousness--PANCAKES!
Oh, mama! It's time, people. You've been working for this all summer, and tomorrow is go time! Join me and all your reading buddies--bring mom and dad, too--from 8:30 to 11:30--in and around the library for some Back-to-School breakfast. Hope to see you there!
